My future brother in law bought a snowmobile.
Edited on Fri Dec-26-03 07:50 PM by HEyHEY
My sister's fiance just bought a snowmobile. I know I went on a rant about them yesterday. But this is a good thing. He has had a really rough life, single mother raised, being beaten by her boyfriends, a dad who never gave a shit about him. Nothing was easy. But his friends always had money for things like dirt-bikes and nice stereos...etc. He must have really felt left out. Well a couple years ago he decided to go after his carpenter's ticket...we were all glad he was going to get a trade. Then he was diagnosed with MS, and had to stop. After a few months he never had another attack and the Doctors said it could have just been a single attack, so he went back to school....

All this stuff held him up... but today he went out and spent the money he'd been saving on a snowmobile. Good show, I'm glad he finally got something he really wanted instead of needed, it's about time. No one has earned the right more. He's so excited, like a ten year old, the gleam in his eye is nice to see.

That's my good rant.

I can't post pics without their permission. But I have two, the younger one is the one with loser boyfriends. There's a new one here right now. :eyes:

But the eldest sister has been seeing this (MY future brother in law) guy for ten years, and they are finally getting married in six weeks. He's a good guy and we all like him.

8. is it a requirement to work as a carpenter?
or is it like IT certification, where it shows employers/prospective employers you are qualified to work in that field?

9. I believe
That you need it only to work on other's houses. I know to be an electrician here you need to have a ticket. But for this I think only to work commercially.

13. Jeez, I never thought I'd feel good about someone getting one of those
Snowmobilers are a real hazard were I live. But here I go feeling good about it. I hope he enjoys it and rides safely.
