If you change your mind, edit your post, you have an hour to do so. about making Bush or Rumsfeld look as evil as possible in one week, with giant originals graciously provided by the Air Force, you might expect some of the pictures to be about Bush or Rumsfeld.

Helpful in the sense of the participating DUers working out some anger, yeah, helpful. Helpful in the sense of stretching the creative legs of DU artists, absolutely.

Helpful as in right-wingers pointing to and noting our work? Maybe not so helpful. But you know what? Screw em. There is plenty of right-wing "art" out there that we could point to. The Aryans, Stormfront, etc. Extreme examples? Not really, the most extreme liberalism can provide is veganism and pacifism, ouch.

However, at what point do we give up altogether? Should we shy away from criticizing our glorious president? Should we cease slapping corporate stickers over the face of someone we know is almost entirely controlled by big business? At what point should we say something is off limits? Is accusing him of having previous knowledge of 9/11 only acceptable if said accusation is in writing?

While I'm guilty of being condescending of posts here that I thought were incredibly stupid, I've yet to question those posters' ability to make them.

I didn't mean to go off on a rant about the 1st Amendment, but that's what I ended up with. Sure, we're not the only side to come up with unflattering graphics of the enemy, but I'll guaran-damn-tee you we're not only the best, but the most creative.

I'm surprised that there weren't more votes cast. Perhaps that had something to do with the --we are all winners and there are no losers-- mantra. Hmmm ... who knows.
