Can't help myself. I'm rehearsing. Going to see Garrison Keillor at Town Hall tonight, and I'm hoping he'll have us sing along to my favorite tune. Rumor has it Al Franken's going to show up. Practice with me now:

Great show.... I couldn't wait for him to get political. When he finally did, it was like the moment that the whole house was waiting for. ENJOY!

He was here (Dallas) a few years ago and the tickets went FAST.

One of my fave political bits he does is during PBS pledge week, where he tells the story of "The PBS Good Ol Days" when Democrats were in charge of Congress and arts funding, so every PBS employee had a taxpayer funded private jet, etc.

Of course, the story ends with "We're All Republicans Now"

7. The monologue was replaced in Michigan this Saturday.

and the Sunday rebroadcast on WUOM.

Garrison started the monologue and only a few words into it another announcer said they couldn't bring it and here is a rebroadcast of the PHC.

Same exact (recorded) repeat replacement happened on the WUOM Sunday rebroadcast.

Tonite Peter Werbe was cancelled here in Detroit for this night only on WRIF. I stepped away just in time to miss the reason.
