I just saw Requiem for a Dream. What a freaking great
Movie. If you don't like this movie you are sick or brain dead.

Sorry, had to do it. Saw the LOTR thread, felt it needed a parody, so I replaced its name with a good movie that I saw for the first time last night. :D

4. Did she win any awards for her performance?
It was one of the best performances I've ever seen.

2. Extremely well done/acted movie BUT far too depressing to
cherish. In other words, just because it's a quality film, doesn't mean I "like" it. I know a lot of people love it and have watched it many times. I don't know how. Far too painful and dark.

5. Nothin special...
except that it was very honest. And I did like the getting high-dialation effect.

8. I think you nailed it
Very honest movie. And very disturbing.

Play off just those two things and it's a great movie. I don't need to own it, or anything, though.
