Eastern Montana DUers: put down snow shovels and check in
We be spread thin out here under the Big Sky, but I wanna know my brethren is OK. Check in druing rest breaks in the shoveling. Havocmom is worried 'bout you all out there! Dino Boy? You got a report from Bo-zone?

Know there are a few more of us. Someone is in a Magic City. How are you doin'? What's it like in your snowy 'hood? We are worried about getting into Billings tomorrow to put the human pup on a plane.

Anybody near the town named after that calvery fella? Any Roundup DUers?

Haven't gone out to start the snow rearrangement for this morning. Plowed out from under last evening but it kept snowing and the drifts are nasty. The 90 pound hound was glad I could get the back door open; front door is a no go til the snow gets moved. Neighbor's Yorkie is SOL and the corgi needs a looooong snorkle.

A few truckers managed to get into Tiny Town yesterday afternoon. Saw one just sitting in his cab, shaking for about half an hour. The car is buried in a drift, after being dug out at 4 yesterday!

Gonna have to use shovel and wheel barrel to move it this time.

You New Englanders can giggle at my plight (Havocdad is a Vermont boy himself) but we don't get snow like this here in West Dakota, especially with the gawd-awful drought that has worsened over the years. And we don't generally have this sort of humidity in winter; 85%-100% when it is generally 3% -12% at these temps.

2. not really cold, just an abnormal bit of snow
Haven't been to Glasgow yet. Doesn't look like I'll be going anytime soon!

Happy new year to ya... I spent 16 years in desert southwest, prefer the weather here, just didn't want so much snow this particular week!

3. At least 3 feet in Bozeman

:hi:
I love your phrase "snow rearrangement!" Ain't that the truth!

We live in LA now, but my husband is from Circle and my folks are in Bozeman. Talked to mom yesterday for over an hour and during that time another foot of snow fell! They were definitely snowed in. Snow was up to the horses' bellies and up to my mom's chest.

*Sigh* Really made us miss being there for xmas, especially the DH. He loves the cold weather and hates being in LA in the winter.

His mom and three siblings drove from Circle to Billings yesterday (going no more than 40 mph) to take one of his brothers to the airport. He said people were in the ditch all over the place between Glendive and Billings.

His flight made it out of Billings ok, but then got laid over in Seattle overnight.

Be careful and take it slow tomorrow.
