O the Red States and Blue States should be friends
O the Red States and the Blue State should be friends
One side likes to kill babies, the other side shoots anything that moves
But that’s no reason why they can’t be friends

American folks should stick together,
American folks should just have fun
Red State sons dance with the Blue State daughters
Blue State boys’ chase after the Red State’s sons

I’d like to say a word about the Red States
They’re a buncha good and thrifty citizens
You’ll always find them laughin’ and enjoyin’ the outdoors
Especially if there’s a negro needin’ lynchin’

Red State daughters visit with Blue State daughters
Blue State daughters make them lesbians…

The Blue States like to make a lot of la-aws…
They take our land and turn them into pa-arks
They come out here and build cities like they got back east
But without their taxes we’d have no roads or water…
