I haven't seen it in years and I just got it today from Netflix. I'm about to watch it and I remember it really was good when I saw it as a child. Do you remember it?

2. Is this the movie about twins, sort of a bad seed type movie. |
|
I really like the movie and the book.

Remember the scene when the cousin jumps into the haystack with the pitchfork?

Remember what the kid did to the baby.
I read the book before I saw the movie, the book is scary.
That was one evil kid.

My Grandparents were farmers and had a barn similar to the movie, I would not jump into a pile of hay for a long time.

8. The movie made in B&W made the movie for me. |
|
I like the part toward the end where the killers help the little boy and old man with a ride picking up soft drink bottles along the way.
I wonder if that part of the movie is true.

10. That's the only scene I remember |
|
I don't know if I ever watched the whole movie. I was probably 10 or so when I saw it and that scene creeped me out. I wonder if I'd still feel that way watching it again as an adult.

Good creepy movie. Adapted by Earl Hamner ("The Waltons" creator) if I remember correctly.

11. Yes - I just saw it for the first time about 2 weeks ago. |
|
It was definitely one of the better "horror" movies out there - I thought it was pretty well done. Very creepy and that kid was just sinister.
I read the book when I was a teenager, and I loved it - I have always been into that genre of horror (supernatural.)
