I've HEARD there is some clan here..supposedly in my area. But I don't buy it. There is barely any in the US anymore.

I would have said the same thing a few years ago until I moved to Ocoee, Florida. I saw about 12 cars with them hanging out the windows crising around. And some locals at the park actually clappped when they went by.

My gen. supt. on the project I was on was a member and invited me to a party.(for his 3yr old daughter) The 50 people at the party were all members. We made a quick exit.

Doesn't mean there aren't plenty of white supremacist/Aryan nation type groups, you've got that right. There are supposedly enclaves of them all over the Midwest -- especially in the rust belt towns where people already were angry, and it was easy to convince them that it was women and minorities that caused their problems, since hating corporations was too esoteric a concept for many.

There was a story I read the other week about a 'European Heritage Festival' (in St. Louis, Missouri) that a lot of Celtic and German musicians played. Turns out it was a recruiting drive for Aryan Nation, or one of the other white supremacist groups. The performers didn't know, and the organizers had simply spun it to them as a folk festival -- they were told to arrive just before they were to perform, and report to a staging area. They didn't realize what was going on until they came off the stage and looked at all the skinheads and Nazi symbols those in the crowd were wearing.

Alive and well, I'd say.

Like the Newt Gingrich film they showed a few years back. The only Black people at the recent freeper conventions have been on film.
