I just met Chrissy Gephardt...ask me anything! (funny story)

Five minutes ago we had a 'celebrity' guest at my office -- it was Chrissy Gephardt, daughter of candidate Dick Gephardt.

I found out about the visit about an hour ago while wearing (now get this!) a HOWARD DEAN FOR AMERICA T-shirt. Ha! Can you believe it? :D

Being the gracious fellow that I am, I stepped next door to a clothing store and bought a DEM blue sports shirt so that my executive director wouldn't choke to death on embarrassment. Such a potential faux pas, no?

I'm also from Missouri, so it was a bit of a thrill to meet her (being a political junky from way back and all...).

She was very nice (of course) and chatted with me a bit about Missouri and the Truman Library, etc.

Funny story, huh? Excuse me for a minute or two...I have to go change back into my Howard Dean for America T-shirt! (Forgive me Dr. Dean!)
