3. Some parts of town were reputed to have snow
That would have most likely been the west side of town which is higher in elevation. I live in the northeast corner and over here it just rained.

Snow is not out of the picture in So. Nevada. One night in Pahrump (a town about 60 miles from Vegas with a similar elevation, maybe 500 feet higher) we got about 3 inches. It was completely gone by 3 in the afternoon though.
