I have lost count of the number of Canadians who I convinced that they DO NOT want to come to Uncle Sugar's Big Super Lotto!

Number blahblah was on Tuesday when I ran into a female clerk about 20 in ZELLERS in Goderich, who was spewing some nonsense about nurses making 6 thou a week in Big PX as a nurse, so I informed her that if that was accurate, we were likely talking about a perfusionist or some such specialty...the chances of that jackpot were slim for a fresh nurse. Besides that, I asked her if she LOVED Bush ("EEEEWWW~ICKICKCICK!") and that if she went over there, she'd better start. After Property Taxes and no free healthcare, she say's she was scared about anyone carrying a gun anyway, and will strongly consider Toronto or Ottawa after graduation.!

OK, OK, it's the locals in Goderich. Everyone I meet knows someone, is related to someone or has at least heard of a McGarrity or a MacKenzie, or Sully, or Murphy, or Johnson, or Gibson.....Who is related to your's truly.

And you know what? The Canadians HATE Bush. Even the PC's. They think he is INCREDIBLY STUPID, and as soon as they know that you're not one of those....then out come the smiles.

I am becoming somewhat of a local already. Last Summer the Little Theater asked me if I was going to try out. Pant pant. They perform in a 150 year old cut stone ex BIG livery stable. I can't wait.

11. Even my dad hates * now...

He's a C.R.A.P. voter, but he was bitching about how * needs "an attitude adjustment" (one of the worst things my dad can say about anyone) because he's trashing the environment. I never knew my dad was such an environmentalist, but that gives me hope. Maybe he'll vote for someone different next time. (He also sent the Stephen Harper flyer to a junk mailer with suitably dismissive comments, alleluia!)
