As the less than wonderful year of 2003 winds to a close it is a good time to thank the Admins and Mods here at DU for providing this wonderful meeting place for progressives everywhere. We all know how the media has been hijacked by the right wing and how frustrating it is to hear the lies and filtered news coming from radio and cable news. It is great to be able to come here and know that there is a little hope left in this insane world that we live.

We appreciate all the work that was done to completely modify the site in 2003 with all the neat additions - especially the spell checker!
