What has happened to the Daily Show
I must have missed something but he has been off the air for a week or so now. Right after being on the cover of Newsweek as being "Seriously Funny" all of a sudden he is gone. What's up anyone know?

3. I'm sure..
... they're just taking a holiday break. The Daily Show will go though occasional week of repeats. I expect it back next week.

I hope. :)

5. Trust me..
Its coming back after the break. Instead of re-runs, they've been airing bad movies.
I'm going to love the show even more during the campaign year. They do a remarkable job.

6. It is tough to have all this news happening without Jon there to make fun
of it. Don't worry they are off for Xmas break and will be back next Monday. Want to know something great? The Daily Show has twice as many viewers on an average day than Fox News.

4. Not only is it going to be back
I suspect it will be forced to sharpen their message even further, or back down into historical irrelavance

8. You mean like SNL?
When is the last time they pushed a button? Or Star Trek. Most trekkers will tell you that that show no longer pushes boundries. Its spirit is dead.
It seems the 'liberal' media has no guts!

7. Vacation..
New shows will probably start monday.

I'm kinda glad Comedy Central decided to fill the space with other stuff..normally they take the last show before Jon went on break and play it over and over and over again.

they've been running a funny promo, with Maher realizing with all that's going on, that god must still like him.

10. Stewart has a time share with Dubya at the Crawford ranch
Seriously, JS takes so many days off he should be President.

To me, I hate weekends because the Daily Show is only on Monday to Friday. To have it be reruns, or bumped by some asshole nonsense movie that everyone has already seen a jillion times, just burns my ass like a three foot flame.

Stewart, Corell, etc., should be required by law to be on every night.

11. Actually..
it's only on Monday through Thursday, which is even worse..especially considering that without the commericials..it's only a 20 minute show! You're right, he should be President. :)
