$50 per hour to surf DU? Double time and a half baby!
Is there anyone out there in insanity-land who actually has to work today? I do... And we're busier than hell today!:hangover:

Our Mantra:

People in China need cell phones!
People in China need cell phones!
People in China need cell phones!
People in China need cell phones!
People in China need cell phones!
People in China need cell phones!

:silly:

Man it's going to be a long day.

1. I have to work...
And we've got another cheap-ass basketball team coming in this evening. I was hoping for a nice, quiet night but NOOOOOOOO!

2. Recommendation
In a joking manner, tell them how cheap the Pacers (it was the Pacers, right?) were. These guys have huge egos, and love to one-up each other.

But say it like, "I'm glad it's you guys, the Pacers were so cheap when they came through...."

Guaranteed money, especially if you're laughing when you say it. Just be friendly with them.

12. It didn't help...
One of them called down last night and asked for us to reheat food that he brought in. We did so and didn't get a tip or even a thank you.

Basketball players suck.

5. Taxes are the price of Freedom
And "most" would be "mostly" an exageration, right. :hi:

8. Yeah it's an exageration, but it sounds good.
When you start racking up holiday pay and overtime it seems as though the diminishing returns take over at some point.

Things could always be worse... I could be unemployed. I don't want to sound ungrateful.

9. If you work on a paid holiday
You get time-and-a-half for working, and straight time for not
working. Your co-workers who are off receive $20/hr.

$50/hr sounds nice, but it's really $30/hr.

11. But the truth is that I don't have the option of NOT being here today
or I would lose it all... Unless it was vacation time, of course.
