If god is infallible, what is he so scared of?

Why does (or why do morons who believe anything they're told) he have it out for anyone that doesn't conform to his way? Then he sends em to hell. Is he afraid of an uprising in heaven? If he's so almighty why can't he be comfortable with that fact and stop trying to scare us?
I think God's got some self-confidence issues, and some mortal weaknesses. And if he tries sending me to hell, I'll tell him to piss off and go spend a nice afternoon at the movies. Then we'll see just how all-powerful he is!

who is to say what God feels? And exactly what is hell, and who really sends someone there? It could be that God is much much different than this limited concept. From my spiritual experiences and study of the world's religions, I'd say that God is much more sublime, simple/complex than anyone can really imagine.

Why does he/she/it have to be all mysterious? If God talks to people all the time, why are there no new gospels? "The Book of Kurt", or "the Gospel according to Fred." Why is it that God talked to a shitload of people a couple of thousand years ago, but is'nt near as talkative today. Is it that we treat people who say they can talk to God differently today? And why is it that the Virgin only appears these days on tree stumps in vacant lots or as a prismatic reflection on an office window?
Doe god punish unbelievers who have never heard of Chrisitanity? If we are to believe the popular televangelists. And speaking of televangelists, are they going to be in Heaven? If so, it might suck.
