Anyone stay sober throughout the holidays?
I came this <> close, but drank a little. No big partying. Also, no regurgitating or hangovers. What the hell's the matter with me!

1. I did. I had a couple drinks, but I remained legally sober.
For the record, I haven't been seriously drunk in probably 5 or 6 years.

17. Yeah, me too. One or two drinks is plenty
I have cut my drinking back to infrequently in the last few months. I feel like I am training for a fight against tyranny and need my smarts and my energy.

3. I was as sober as a judge
Can't drink due to medication...I bought my wife a bottle of wine but she wasn't into it. She was in bed by 9:30 and I followed closely behind at 10.
No biggie...I've had my share of nasty New Year hangovers.

In the snow, untill 10PM. Liquor stores were closed by then. I could have done with a nip of brandy when I got home.

14. Sober through the holidays and now.
I have never been drunk. Given my family history of alcoholism I have chosen to stay away from alcohol.

15. Nope.
The boys spent the night at the neighbor's house with their friends, and my wife and I got faced on a couple of bottles of Cristal and the odd Corona or two. Then we rang in the New Year by forgetting that I'm 52 and she's 47. Damn! That woman still does it for me.

28. I don't drink much.
I have lots of liquor around (have it for company, but never drink it up) and mixers, and last night we had family over but they all drank their own beer.
I just forget to drink.
I'm boring as hell, I guess.

33. I did. Had a couple of small glasses of wine
but they were about an hour apart, so legally I was still sober.

Still had fun though, watching the neighbors shoot off fireworks with our three daughters.
