1. Now that's a good way to start the new year.
Edited on Mon Jan-01-07 12:25 PM by Gormy Cuss
I didn't drink anything last night. The SO was sick and I didn't feel like celebrating alone.
Since I am also hangover free, I'll make a mess of popcorn for our fellow DUers who may want some.

10. Eating is a good way to address a hangover.
Need to help your body purge that liquor, you know. What better way than a big bowl of popcorn? That and plenty of water, juice, or soda pop may get some people through a difficult morning.

GATORADE, it helps immensely the night of before going to bed, and can help bring a quicker end to the agony the day after.

18. SORRY, WHAT DID YOU SAY???
heh, heh...was kept up till the wee hours of the morning by a bunch of screaming drunks shooting off rockets and mini bombs. We live in a marina, and yesterday a huge boat came and pulled in next to ours, and proceeded in having their own personal Mardi Gras on our quiet little dock. This morning hubby got up at seven and fired up our two huge stinky engines and let them run for a looong time. The best revenge is served up cold at seven a.m. :)

I haven't had the time since my parents arrived and today I was just plain lazy.

I prefer the quiet to the "discussion". I hope you don't end up in my circumstane and immobilized by forces you can't control. I feel like we are slipping into a pattern that is far too familiar. I want to shake my fist at the heavens... surely the plan is not for me to stay in the situation until death us do part. Sure feels that way though.
