Pat Summerall is drunk at the Cotton Bowl again
:eyes:

Seriously. Who the hell hires this bozo year after year? He sucks. He has ALWAYS sucked. Now he is drunk (again). He doesn't know the names of the players, can BARELY follow the plays, half the time he says it was a catch when the fucking referee is CLEARLY calling it incomplete on the field and i'm not even sure he knows where exactly he is!

Please don't tell me someone actually PAYS him to drool on my TV year after year.

THAT would be a travesty!

1. Is he really drunk? Didn't he get a new liver?
I heard his voice but wasn't sure if it was him.

I honestly thought he had passed away.

10. And also...
Leave it to Fox to put a fucking virtual arrow on the field, whereby even monkeys can keep up with the game (though apparently that's not enough for the announcers).

One would think that the field marker, the virtual line of scrimmage, and the virtual first down line were enough, but no.

We apparently also need the gi-fucking-normous arrow, telling us the down count, the yards, and which fucking team has the ball.

:dunce:

17. Who hires this bozo???
I'm a little offended (very little) that you would disparage "bozos" by comparing to Pat Summerall.

21. I'm so tired of watching the coach-on-the-sideline shot
A little late with this post. I was at my son's house and saw some of the game.

Will they never tire of showing the coach on the sideline between plays? Not very original anymore.

I remember ABC had a rep for showing good looking college girls between plays. (Is that why I enjoyed watching college football??!!). That ended and now we have the coaches. Just not the same

:)
