What is with parents some times?
A my folks house... I make a sandwich from what is about 75 per cent of a 20 pound turkey in the fridge. My dad says, "I hope you left enough for your mother and I for dinner tonight."

Yeah, Dad, I ate 15 pounds worth of turkey in one sandwich. Oye.

I made a pork loin one night. The thing was about 24 inches long. We are a family of four. That night DS had a friend over for supper (both boys 18 at the time). Stupid of me, I know, but I figured there's be leftovers! Hahahahaha! DH, DD and I got one or two slices each. When I went into the kitchen later that evening, the rest was GONE! Those boys had eaten the entire damn roast!

once before I said "Put that back, I offered you a taco, you just took 2 lbs of meat and the family hasn't eaten yet." He

75% of 20 is 15. Did you really make that big of a sandwich?

6. 75% of an orginally 20 lb turkey is in the fridge. Thus there are 15 lbs of it.
Heyhey, feeling ready for some major gluttony (if we are to believe his father) goes to the kitchen for a snack and makes a monstrous sandwich.

Dad, fearing for the nourishment of the family, asks if he left enough for dinner.

Heyhey cackles, belches and tells his dad that he's devoured the entires thing :sarcasm:

To be fair to pop. 20 lbs doesn't always mean 20 lbs of edible meat. Also, if HH and any family members are picky on the whole light/dark meat issue, turkey shortages can happen more easily

7. thanks,
I'm spacing out (maybe I should leave work). I think HeyHey should remind his parents that a single serving of meat should be about the size of a deck of cards, and he's doing them a favor.
