should I sell my Xbox 360 and get a PS3, or keep it?
Question for my fellow dU gamers: I've had to send my xbox 360 in to be repaired, and it should be on its way back this week. while it SHOULD work fine, I'm still upset about my 360 breaking down to begin with..sooooo I might consider trading it in towards a PS3. I'm just not sure, should I trade it in or keep it and jut buy a PS3 a bit later?

1. Screw 'em both and get a Wii.
PS3 will die a slow, painful death because of the lack of interest. Only hardcore gamers will buy it, much like the situation that afflicted the Gamecube, so the games will be lackluster. The first year will be great as Sony pours the money from the PS2 project into the PS3 one, but as interest goes down, so will game production.

As far as I see, 360 will follow a similar path.

So, with Wii being the cheapest and most revolutionary, many developers are rushing to Nintendo to make a game, so the Wii would be your best bet for a game system.

2. a Wii? No
i already have an HDTV, and while a Wii looks fun, I'm not going to go BACK to standard video now.

3. The PS3 is not a gaming platform.
Sony has said that the PS3 is intended to be the hub of a entire home entertainment system. The PS4--the real successor to the PS2--is already in development.

If you want a new gaming experience, I'd go for the Wii.

4. Seriously, why pay the money for a PS3?
It's expensive and there's no good games for it.

5. My brother has a PS III
The thing is pretty cool. Having grown up with three gamer brothers i have spent my life pretty much ignoring the whole gaming console issue. This one really caught my attention. The games he does have are AMAZING. Especially the driving games. The web browser is fairly easy to use. Storage capacity is really impressive.

:hi:

6. Sell it,
Buy it again in like a year or so when the price goes down.

7. lending towards PS3 and selling my 360
when Halo 3 comes out, you can be sure the 360 will be more reliable and cheaper. I'm about ready for the 20 GB PS3 in a month or so :-)
