week of vacation to use a Christmas time and took it!!

It was great. Son came home and announced plans to move back to town. Had a great time with the new granddaughter. Both great-grannies that live in town, and one great-grandfather got to spend a good amount of time with her.

Had the entire crew over to my house for Christmas dinner. Had an $80 standing-rib roast (something we have only once a year). It disappeared quickly.

The company canceled planned layoffs for the first of the year. When's the last time you heard of that happening.

Barbecued with my son twice. Rested, watched movies. It doesn't get any better than this past week did for me.

Hope all of you had as good a time, and let the political passions cool for a little while so you could enjoy life.

Back to the grindstone tomorrow.
