Warning, a rant follows!
:grr:

I spent the afternoon cleaning our yard up after our neighbors' house party. Their lovely (piggish) guests felt the need to use our front yard as a garbage can. Beer bottles, plastic cups, ciggy butts, and other flotsam and jetsam ended up in our front yard, and all up and down the street.

Anyone who throws a house party should be obligated to clean up after their guest, if their guests trash the neighborhood.

:nuke:

2. I would have if I had known exactly which house it was
The homes in this subdivision are all really close together (think master planned community) and I am not entirely sure which house had the party.

The okay news out of this is I will get CRV on all the beer bottles!

9. 'Where'd you get the cocoanuts?'
"We found them."

"Found them? In Mercia? The cocoanut's tropical."

"The swallow may fly south with the sun, or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land."

"Are you suggestin' that cocoanuts migrate?"

6. My neighbor is a contractor.
Any time he has work done on his place the crews seem to feel that they can be utter slobs. I pick up the odd labels, wrappings, spare parts and their lunch detritus, all of which seems to end up in my yard, and pack it in a plastic bag and hang it from his mailbox or leave it in the middle of his driveway. He's the ONLY neighbor who had a Bush/Cheney '04 sign on his front lawn. Coincidence? I think not.

7. I suspect it is the house next door to us
whose occupants have never even waved at us even when we have waved at them, since we moved here in August.

8. I know what you're talking about.
Our neighbor's college age kids are HUGE partiers. We always know when the semester has ended because suddenly there will be endless numbers of cars going up and down the long drive with beeping, slamming of doors and lusty shouting of profanity at all hours of the night. Because much of the party seems to take place outdoors we inevitably find bottles, cans and cigarette butts that have been thrown over the eight-foot fence into our back and side yard. Because there is never enough room for all the cars in the driveway, we always have cars lined up in front of our house and souvenirs of their drivers littering our front lawn. And yes, these people are rich as god. :grr: Doesn't mean they have any sense.

12. Well if their dog comes over EVERY MORNING
and poops in your back yard, right outside the barn door - EVERY FREAKING MORNING - then you have my permission to take action. Somebody ought to.

13. They do have dogs
But they are totally fenced in, thank goodness. Otherwise animal control would be called.

15. It happened to me every weekend during the summer.
When a guy down the street complained about these pig neighbors with the juvenile delinquents, his car was tipped over the next evening.

14. You have a perfect right to rant.
I found beer cans, chicken bones and other assorted garbage many times from my neighbor's parties.
