All of these have just been wasted by "Mini-Gallagher" on Mind of Mencia.

Man, that is a serious sledgehammer he's using.

The pager is about to be given "special treatment" by some gang-bangers...

1. I may be Dee,Dee,Dee
but I'll keep my corded phone. I threw out both of my cordless phones after too many problems with batteries or connection problems that I could never fix until I got rid of them. While I seldom use cassette tapes it sure is progress to lose all of your music at one time when your iPod goes belly-up. I'll stick with CDs until progress makes them disappear.

2. I don't like cordless phones either

They seemed to get all staticky and tended to drop calls after I installed a wireless connection for my computers. I now use a corded phone, and I've had no such problems.

My mother and stepfather favored cordless phones, and when they still lived in their own house, they were constantly leaving them around the house and forgetting to charge them. I kept begging them to put in at least one phone that stayed put and didn't need to be recharged, but it was a lost cause.

Color me retro. Oh, yes, and I still have a fax machine, because some of my clients still use them.

3. Ditto
The reception is still more reliable and secure with a corded phone. Better for those credit card orders, too.
