I love the feeling when you get out of a shower or bath.
Your skin feels so clean and smooth, and after you're dry, every teeny little breeze feels like heaven on your skin. Plus your hair feels lighter and bouncier, and your muscles are relaxed and happy. Ahhhh.

I remember being a kid in the summer. Coming in at dark all hot, sweaty, dirty and exhausted from playing hard, sticky popsicle trails on your hands, and crawling right into a hot bubble bath. Then coming out all clean and drowsy and relaxed, climbing between soft, cool, clean sheets that just feel heavenly on your skin, and drifting off without a care in the world.

2. When I get out of the shower or bath...
I just feel c-c-c-c-c-c-cold!

I like feeling clean! I don't like feeling cold. :)

3. I have a trick for avoiding that!
Before you get into the shower or bath, toss a couple of towels into the dryer first. By the time you get out, the towels will be fluffy and super-warm, and you won't be the least bit cold!

This works for me because our laundry room is directly attached to the bathroom. If your laundry area isn't in or near the bathroom, maybe you can have a special someone bring the hot towels into the bathroom before you get out of the shower or tub? :)

4. Our laundry room is downstairs and our bedroom is upstairs.
:)

My husband bought me a beautiful, extra fluffy cozy robe for Christmas, and he does hang that up outside the shower when I'm showering or bathing. My problem is that I tend to stay in the bath too long, and then it's that awful choice between cold water and cold air.

5. I bought one of those spa-type robes a couple of years ago
I love it. So did one of my girls, apparently. When it was hanging brand new and pristine on the bathroom door, she wiped her cherry pie mouth on it instead of one of the many choices of DARK towels.....

Luckily it came out.

8. I got a heated towel rack for Christmas a couple years back.
Supposedly popular in Europe.

7. What's even better is to sit in a sauna for a while, then shower. It leaves your skin
cleaner than any soap can get it. Also "Batherapy" (the purple liquid) is great stuff, if you sit in a hot bath with it for about 15 minutes - it almost makes your skin feel numb, so that you are floating on a cloud without feeling anything touching you - extremely relaxing.
