that I know of for probably ten or eleven years. I quit bodybuilding and let myself go. :(

Last time I know of for sure, I was at the heighth of my weight-lifting craze. I went into a store to inquire about a job, and the manager (a woman) kept ogling my chest. All false modesty aside, I had PECS! I mean, I was ripped! And yes, I was wearing a shirt at the time. :+

It felt good; really gratifying 'cause of all the work I'd put into my conditioning. Plus, I'd been an unpopular fatboy in high school, and it was like Ugly Duckling/Swan time.

Not anymore, though. Now I look like Paul Giamatti's younger brother.

and the world was a simpler place, and I thought I'd be young and cute *ahem* and virile forever. I had the perfect shape to wear the hip-hugger bell-bottom pants that were extremely popular at the time - very, very tight with huge wide belts and clunky platform shoes. I got checked out a lot and I loved it! Now I'm just a sweet old man, but that also has its advantages. :-)

24. Honestly? I get embarrassed and a little suspicious.

I have terrible self-esteem. When someone is obviously "checking me out", I tend to think they're making fun of me or something. I get embarrassed because I don't like being the center of attention. Leftover emotional trauma from a bad relationship where I was constantly told how fat and ugly I was.

It's sad that nearly eight good years of ThinkBlue1966 telling me that I'm beautiful and perfect still hasn't managed to erase all of that.
