I am still pissed at them for screwing me out of a refund of my return flight after 9/11/01. Two customer service agents - one on the phone AND one on the website through email promised a refund. They told me to go to a service desk - any one of them - for a refund. Their downtown Seattle office hemmed and hawed and finally refused, in person, right to my face. I wrote their corporate office and they blew smoke up my ass with a bullshit letter and a half-price voucher with more blackout dates than an Enron power grid.

I should have known better after the shoddy way they handled the crash off of CA back in 2000. :pissed:

2. I dislike Alaska Airlines greatly

they have a strangle hold on my hometown in SE Alaska...you either pay their prices to fly out, or pay the high prices for the AMH....btw, I flew on Alaska Airlines, a week after that crash in 2000...there were a few people from my hometown, that died in that crash. I believe that accident happened on the first of February, 2000...

3. Alaska Airline, I remember it well. Their planes squeaked and

creaked so bad that I thought I was a goner over the Prince Albert Isles.

And I had to fly them four (4) times.

I get to fight w/ United today for cancelling my flight home and making me pay another $650 for a ticket on a flight I'd already paid for. I especially love how they blamed it on Continental at the airport. :eyes: I talked to Priceline last night and confirmed that it was indeed UNITED that cancelled my flight.

Perhaps it was a sign that I just shouldn't have come home. :shrug:
