I just split my face
I bought one of those over the door hanger thingies so I could put tomorrows outfit on it but the whole thing fell off the door when I did it and landed on the bridge of my nose making a nice horizontal half inch cut. And it was heavy. At first I thought it was pretty deep but it stopped bleeding.

A friend came over and looked at it- we decided no er visit necessary. But I will look funny for a few days.

1. Think of it as an opportunity. You can put a big fat bandage on it and make up some lurid story
to tell your co-workers tomorrow. A great chance to find out how gullible they really are.

My life is pretty tame.

Edit: How about "I fought off an ax murderer and won".

4. A litte super glue to hold the wound together should minimize scarring
by keeping it from pulling open and healing all splayed out. Usually that's what they do at the ER for small cuts now anyhow.

Worked great when LeftyKid split his forehead open. Both times. :eyes:

6. Dermabond is best
Most drug stores sell it as Liquid Skin or New Skin. Regular superglue will work in a pinch, but keep it out of the wound itself.

Midwives use it on small tears too.
