1. I saw this too
I laughed my ass off when I saw this. I saw this idiot once years ago at a live event when I attended with a friend of mine. He was really really bad live. He was extremely bad at faking stuff without the benefit of the cameras to gloss it over.

4. What makes him think that the same crowd that hated his WWF character in sports arenas
Edited on Thu Jan-04-07 10:19 AM by Strawman
Will like him now in the political arena? Despite all the efforts to push him is the heir to Hulk Hogan, people thought he sucked. Cuz he did suck. That was one of the lamest characters ever. A total bust.

I almost wonder if this is a pretext for getting back into wrestling with a new character. He could be called The Pundit. Then maybe when he turns face back into the Ultimate Warrior, people might actually prefer it. A RW commentator might be the only thing more lame than the Warrior.

5. he used to be cool because he would storm out and whip ass
then run out in a blaze of glory. It made you think: "Woa, who the fuck was that guy?" But that only works so often. It got lame fast when, one, his character actually talked and you realized how lame and possibly insane the guy was, and, two, you found out that beyond coming out and blowing some guy out in about a minute, the Warrior couldn't wrestle for shit, nor was he entertaining at all.

He had some of the dumbest feuds ever. Like when he was "cursed" by Papa Shango and his godawful acting was put on display. Or when he came back to WCW to fight Hogan during the NWO days. Ugh...

He got to the point where nobody cared, because the guy was a one trick pony. Goldberg at least fleshed out beyond the unstoppable force who would just come in and waste guys in seconds. Warrior never developed any true skills. I mean who the hell would pay 300 bucks for one of his action figures? What a joke.

6. At least Randy Savage
Could pull a good match out of him (two good matches at that) And Rude could get a few passable ones from him..

Warrior had a good short run . . . but was worth nothing in the long run . . .

But I give him credit for being part of one of my "guilty pleasures" in pro-wrestling... Jake Roberts teaching him the dark side. . . in which Warrior gets bitten by the fake cobra... warms my heart every time ;)!!!

Trust me? NEVER TRUST A SNAKE!

7. ok, that made me smile
fake cobra... :toast:

Rude could get some solid matches out of him for sure. Warrior and Savage were interesting for sure. Not too mention nobody could understand what the hell either of them said. :)

8. The really sad thing is
that I know a couple of people who, if they had the money, would spend it on this trash.

I haven't seen most of it (it's an hour long), but apparently he says some pretty outrageous things!

12. Have you seen "The Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior"?
He apparently wasn't the WWE's favorite person to work with! They have a story about him threatening to not work the main event of SummerSlam unless they gave him more money..this was apparently on the night of the show! Hulk Hogan told the Iron Sheik to break Warrior's leg, but cooler heads prevailed. They gave him what he wanted, but then Vince McMahon fired him when the match was over.
