..McNabb may be heading somewhere else next season. Garcia only has a few years left but would be perfect as an interim QB while they draft the new Cunningham/McNabb of the Eagles.

Of course, unlike Cunningham, Donovan McNabb comes across as a really nice guy and class act. Just the way McNabb handled himself with the comments from both Limbaugh and TO showed that. Cunningham was a prick

13. Cunningham burnt his bridges here in Philadelphia

The crowning glory was in his last playoff game with the Eagles it just so happened to be his wife was due to deliver their first child. Cunningham had a big hissy fit about how he would skip the playoff game if his wife went into labor on gameday, which personally I could appreciate why he wants to be there BUT he was also paid a shit-load of money to play football. Perhaps if he didn't take that to the media he might not have been chased out of town. When the playoffs start you want to have all your ducks lined up and ready to go, so having your starting QB suggest that he might not even play pissed off alot of people.

Ultimately McNabb hired a private jet on standby to take him home should his wife go into labor (which she didn't until like a week later)

Remember, he was on the Lions. They were coached for most of his career by a complete buffoon who once claimed that a phantom had placed cocaine in the back seat of his car. Barry did everything he did for the Detroit f'in Lions. Put LT on Arizona or the Lions and then we can talk. LT is good, but Barry was the best runner ever.

I would have placed him first above Ladaidian, but I keep watching footage and there is just something magical about this guy. GOD, he's good.

Since he catches passes (and even throws), but I saw too much of Barry to forget how great he was. I'll never forget seeing him as a rookie in the preseason against Phoenix. He had just signed that week, had practiced maybe once and on his first carry, he took the handoff and made two or three guys miss and ran it in 20 yards for a TD. I'll also never forget the game he went over 2000 yards against the Jets and how insanely loud it was at the Silverdome. As a Lions fan, that and one playoff victory in my lifetime are about the only good memories I've got. So I'm probably biased. If Barry had played for Dallas with the huge holes Emmit Smith ran through, the Cowboys probably would have went undefeated for 2 years during the mid-90's.

Record-setting LaDainian Tomlinson of the San Diego Chargers ran away with The Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player award Thursday the way he eluded defenders in leading his team to the AFC's best record (14-2) and a favorite's role for the Super Bowl.

"When you're MVP of the league, it's a great accomplishment," Tomlinson said, adding the honor means "that I've had a great year, that's all, on a great team."

But with so much more on the horizon, he hopes.

"I would feel so much better about winning if we win the Super Bowl. It would feel like it would be everything," Tomlinson said.
