When he died...I thought to myself...'there goes the half of the Beatles that had TALENT'
nah, I love Ringo, but I can't stand Paul.
Anyways...they showed a clip on Saturday Night Live not long after that of George doing 'Here Comes the Sun' with Paul Simon...and it really got to me.
Whenever I see the video for 'When We Was Fab,' it kinda gets to me as well...you guys see it?

George's songs were among the best and most inventive in the Beatles' work...

was the most spiritual of them all.

Not religious just connected with the universe in a way that at least Paul and Ringo don't seem to me to be. John, maybe, he certainly was something too.

And yes, spiritual he definitely was. His music, and John's, showed a real expansion of the mind and spirit...Paul's...well...he remained a pop artist, and Ringo is just Ringo.
