the kinds of music you can play with a buzz, on my piano. The buzz isn't here, but I'm anticipating it.

Anybody else up?

On edit: it's now 2:02. Could somebody please sing me a lullaby? I need to go to sleep but am wide awake.

26. My cats that live down here in the dungeon
for some reason aren't sleeping with me like I thought they would. My dogs are not allowed down here, because they will eat the cat food. I do have my chimp though.

Pretty pathetic really.

didn't look like George Bush.

KIDDING!

Okay, I guess I must, reluctantly, go to bed. I've got to be up in a couple of hours. Woe is me! Goodnight! :loveya:

12. What would you like to hear?
Alas, I suck at everything but classical. Unless you want a romantic ballad. That I can play slowly enough that my improvisation sounds okay.

I'm up, baby!

No wine for me, though......

I'm streaming classical music and it is wonderful!

It's only 10:40PM here....early yet!

Glad to see you tonight, sweetie...........

How'd your piano thing go?

14. Not well.
This is what happened. The piece is about twenty, twenty-five pages long. I did about eight flawlessly and then my mind said "There is no possible way this good fortune can continue." And my hands began to shake. This is fairly normal for me and the reason why I'm taking lessons.

I wish it were only 10:49 in the east. I'm going to regret this tomorrow.

When I first started seeing her I couldn't play four measures without blushing and sweating. All my life I've had a phobia about playing in front of people and I've come a long way! :hi:

My band project died an ugly death

My studio looks like a packrat's storage shed

My recording project is on hold until the engineer finishes up another job

I have no gigs until the weekend

so what'll I do if I stop?

23. Watch TV, read, and try to make a plan for becoming employed.
Without a job I feel useless. Healthy adults are not supposed to be unemployed. I have no skills though, and I hate working with the public. I need to go back to school and learn how to do research. Maybe.

25. Ah, I understand.
I'm a healthy and unemployed person myself, currently feeling useless. Few/no skills. But look, we can both type. That's got to count for something.

32. How do we turn this into a job?
I may have mislead you. I worked 30 years for Ford. I have a $2200.00 income a month(after taxes) which I earned by busting my as# on the line for 30 years. The problem is that I feel useless. I was raised to work. I need to work for a few more years, then work as a volunteer for a few more years. Working in a shop was a protected environment. You deal with jerk supervisors, clueless engineers, cranky, sometimes psychotic co-workers, noise, dirt, long hours, speed-up pressures, but never the public. I wouldn't last 10 minutes on a cash register with someone yelling at me because they don't like the price of something.

Listening to some tunes, sipping a not too bad chianti, smoking cheap cigarettes and scanning DU and thirdgen.org for topics of interest.

33. I'm trying, dammit
But I think I am ahead of you in the wine buzz race.

Hopefully, that did not affect the quality of advice I just rendered on thirdgen.org, or that poor dude is likely to blow up the engine in his 92 Camaro RS ...

Anyway ... let's have some more wine ...
