24. Pine Valley is probably Bryn Mawr, PA, and I'm there already...
well, it's about 10 minutes away from my far less prestigious Current Undisclosed Location!

Agnes Nixon, the show's late creator, was from Bryn Mawr, and it's generally accepted that she used it for a model for Pine Valley. When they've shown maps, it occupied the space that Bryn Mawr occupies. Plus it's outside "Center City", which is what the locals call downtown Philadelphia....

Way more than anyone wanted to know, I'm sure....

10. Oakdale
Some believe it is on "As the World Turns". I, in fact, have been there. It is a tiny suburb of St Paul, MN regardless of what the shows writers may say.

And Happy New Year, Mr. Scorpio!! It is great to see you're around tonight.

13. None of 'em
Too much going on...too many tornadoes, earthquakes, plagues, floods, blizzards and other various natural (not to mention manmade) disasters.

I prefer my environs to be boring. Dull. QUIET.

25. Every once in awhile....
some Y&R character throws out a line about "looking at those projection figures" or some such, just to remind the audience that they supposedly do more than hang out. Ha!! Those people have the easiest jobs on the planet. ;)

28. LOL. I can't believe the amount of coffee those people drink.
They should be bouncing off the walls on every episode.

But, yeah, those projection figures need looking at. And...recently...they are "overstocked" on their product line. The. Horror.
