Say hi to Max, the RetroDog!

Max is 12 weeks old, a Black Lab / German Shepherd mix we adopted from the Wisconsin Humane Society.

And boy, are my kids happy!

May he and your family find much joy together - and if he is a trying puppy (as many retriever pups are) go get a copy of "Marly and Me" for the family to read to help get through puppydom - and remember that as they mature - so many of the challenging puppy behaviors disappear.

28. We had a black lab, doberman mix

she was the greatest dog we have ever been owned by. Labs are the greatest! We now own a 7 year old golden retriever, and though we love her, you just can't beat the black labs, mix or not1
