Not really a copycat---just the flip side of WCGreen's other post. :) I'm almost always in a good mood. It's a rare occurrence that I feel sad or blue, but it does happen. However, I'm mostly easygoing and happy. (Not sickeningly happy, but pleasant. :P)

It's rare that I'm cranky and I find that when I am it means I'm coming down with something.

and I am okay with that. My feelings/moods are like the amplifier in the movie Spinal Tap, they go to eleven at both ends. I'm realizing finally that it's probably best to accept it and to be honest about it; I've had to send out a few pm's lately telling people essentially 'don't mind me, I'm just crazy'.Because I am capable of such intensity I am cable of great love and passion as well; I choose to accept the bad with the good, and value what I have been given rather than compare myself negatively to people who are more emotionally 'stable' (especially since I know so much of it is chemical anyway).

I have always been greatly affected by the world events and what I see on the news, etc.; like the poet Joy Harjo wrote "I was born with eyes that can never close". I find myself deeply troubled, saddened, and disturbed by many things and yes, it does affect my mood, and it can cause a depressed state. However, I prefer awareness, and 'bearing witness' if that is all I can do (and I've done more, or tried to, on occasions when I could) to burying my head in the sand.

12. That would be me!
As I've gotten older I've learned not to sweat the small stuff. Life is much more enjoyable if you try to see the humor in situations and the goodness in people.
(Smiling slows down the progress of wrinkles too!)

18. No, but I know someone who isn't happy unless they're miserable.
A person who wakes up angry, thinks the world is against them and hates them. If you don't agree than you hate them too. It's like: I wouldn't exist unless people hated me. A person who remembers details from years ago when someone did something, forgot something, didn't do something, anything and everything because they are so hated. This person actually wonders why "friends" don't call, doesn't get invited to parties, can't keep a job. A person who in turn hates Christians, Christmas, American Girl products, America, British, Irish, Scots, Repubs, Southerners, Whites, own family, spouse's family, neighbors...did I leave anyone out.

19. Yes. I want to punch them
Just kidding. There's a guy in my office who whistles constantly. Drives me up the fucking wall.

I, on the other hand, am almost never in a good mood. Perhaps my medication needs adjusting.

This woman in my office is always so fucking happy and cheery (think Kelly Ripa X 100). Even on Monday mornings fer chrissake! I fantasize about driving a nail through her head from time to time.
