what consumer product would you endorse?
or give a celebrity testimonial about?

27. That's good, I guess

Usually I like under-the-radar stuff and if the masses approve of it I generally look on with much skepticism. However, on this all important (I LOVE ketchup) issue the masses are right.

God bless Ronald St. Raygun for trying to make ketchup a veggie.

30. The article is fascinating
Evidently, Heinz Ketchup has precisely the right combination of salt, sweet and whatever else that almost everyone picks it as "BEST" in taste tests. Mustard, on the other hand, is completely different - some people like one kind, some like another.

The article gives you a whole tour of your sense of taste.

34. ZICAM

This is a gel cold remedy you squirt in the tip of your nose when you start to feel a cold coming on. This stuff is wonderful. I have used it even after feeling symptoms a couple of days, and it wipes the cold out. Very rarely does it not work. It is pricey, but if you get it on sale, or get a coupon, it is good. I figure, it is worth 7.50 to not have to buy cough syrup and decongestant. Plus, one tube will last you nearly a year.

I've found it's a little cheaper in the stores than their on-line price of $5 but even that would be worth it.

58. Castrol GTX motor oil
I don't use it in the car I have now because it's expensive and the car leaks like a sieve (easy fix if I ever get my scrawny ass under there and pull the crankshaft pulley, which is no mean feat), but I was driving my Bug one day when the oil pump stopped pumping. Thanks to Castrol GTX's long-lasting high-tensile-strength lubricating film, I was able to get home in the car under its own power. And once I fixed the oil pump and put more Castrol GTX in it, the car started and ran beautifully. The engine was still working beautifully 18 months later when I sold the car, and I still see the car around town.
