She's not as bad as she was before they punctured her eardrum to allow it to, well, drain. :( She is starting some new (EXPENSIVE) food for cats with allergies, since she refuses to try anything I fix.

I'm doing okay. Tax season. About 6 hours of work to do this afternoon. That's pretty much it. I'm either at home or at work. Makes for very dull conversation.

Oh my gosh, that IS bad! REALLY bad! Henri's ear was never that bad. Oh, that poor little thing. :cry:

Henri has allergies, too. Every few months he'll start licking his legs and his belly, and he'll lick raw spots into them unless I start him on a course of Cyclosporine. Fortunately it doesn't take much medication and then he's good to go again for quite awhile. I wish we could figure out what it is that he's allergic to so we could work to avoid that instead of just treating the allergy once the symptoms appear. Oh well. = sigh = They're worth it. And Gracie is so lucky to have you taking such good care of her. Hugs to you, rockin' kittie mama! :hug:

Gracie's vet visit was interesting. She's got some junk in her ear but the eardrum is good. She got sick in her carrier on the way over, so it was a tough trip. She's hiding from me now. She'll forgive me this evening when I turn on the electric blanket. :)
