How to pick up strangers. Your best advice?
For me the only thing I've always discovered that will gain affections is to smile when you first meet someone. Other than that, I have no idea.

1. Smile
say something interesting about your situation and what's going on

then proceed with enthusiasm, but aloofness so as not to seem overeager

"It rocks!" But try to avoid crying?

2. Hello there
I am a stranger. You do not know me. You wanna pick me up?

You need to leer and drool and lick your lips alot while rubbing your hands together. That always does it for me.

11. The smile is everything.
One thing I dislike, believe it or not, is hearing, "You're hot" or something like that. If a girl is "hot" she doesn't need to hear it again. Something more original and more personal always gets my attention. I spoke to a cutie last night and he didn't say a thing about my looks. He said, "You're smart" and I liked him for it. He left the place where I was but returned in half an hour, walked up to me and said, "I had to come back to see if you really are a Democrat." Lol. If I were truly looking he would have had me right there.

19. LOL Thanks! I need all the help I can get
:pals:

I thought I really hit it off with a guy last weekend, but he never did call. That's why I don't put myself out there very often. It starts out good for the ego and goes downhill from there.

21. That happens to me and I do not let it get to me.
I meet great guys all the time but I can't bring myself to follow through on anybody. It doesn't mean they aren't funny, interesting etc. It means I'm not ready to find me a new man yet. The old one crushed my heart irreparably.

26. Grab them under the arms from behind and lift
If you are worried about hurting your back, I suggest luring them onto a pallet and raising them with a forklift.
