4. Sudafed is not a component of crystal meth

It is crystal meth, minus one little methyl group attached in the right place.

Its frightening how similar the two substances are molecularly. I hate that they have all but done away with sudafed in an OTC sense, but it is really cleaning up meth labs all over my county.

That is a good thing, since where I live was used as the setting for The Rock's movie "Walking Tall" - nice to know Kitsap County is famous for something....
