My mouth tastes like I've been chewing aluminum foil.
I'm taking Biaxin for a nasty sinus infection and it makes my mouth taste metallic. Blech.

It's really a great drug though, two days and I feel remarkably better.

1. Gross. I've had the same problem with Biaxin.
And a few other things over the years. It's a nasty side effect.

2. I know. Waking up is a truly hideous thing.
But I can't take any sulfa drugs and the penicillin category wasn't cutting it.

3. I only did acid once.
And that's the taste I remember having in my mouth.

5. All I Remember
Is that I drove 70 miles and I have this recollection of seeing all of the car's taillights having a lot of depth to them

The next morning I went to work and the walls kept having a melting sensation, don't remember the taste

didn't do that again either

8. You actually drove???
Thank Jeebus you're still here.

I remember the melting and things pulsed. I also had a Cindy Lauper song replaying over and over until my friends told me I heard it hours ago.

But the metallic taste I distinctly remember as I tried to fall asleep.

10. Yeah, Insane!
I went to a Grateful Dead concert and I got there and was immediately handed some window panes

I had a blast at the concert

When I left I got lost (had others with me too) in Oklahoma City, I remember this because I remember asking someone how to get to the interstate but it all seems like a dream really.

wouldn't recommend driving on acid at all (especially with a ton of hash and beer on top of all of that)

4. Antibiotics Blahhhhh!
they always leave me feeling like shit and bad taste in my mouth.

I have chronic sinus problems and take way too much antibiotics, this is the year I've taken the least

Can't take Pen or Sulfa either

6. I thought it was just a run of the mill cold, but it's been so warm
here the mold spores haven't died off and I have mold allergies. It's also been really rainy here.

WHen I went to the doctor last week with my daughter, she was saying how congested I sounded, but my ears were so clogged, I hadn't noticed. I WAS sleeping a tremendous amount though, could hardly get out of bed, so that should have been a tip off.

I feel a lot better. I was blaming my headaches on my glasses, but they've resolved.

7. Good Deal!
I live in mold spore hell, it has been a little colder here this year (Arkansas) but probably not enough to make a difference

we get the cedar from Texas, the grass from the plains, the molds from Louisiana, etc. all blowing across our area at any given time. I take allergy shots and they have helped. I only take an antihistamine the day I get my shots, or if I'm really exposed and sniffling (which is rare)

My problems are usually in the winter time when I get stuffed up and dry.

TMI I'm sure

 :pals:
