born with. My opinion is why would someone choose to live a certain way that would cause them such heartache in life. I am not gay, but I know it must be hard sometimes to be gay. I think the world has progressed a lot, but it is still a cruel cruel world out there.

5. poor choices
something can be inborn without being hereditary.

Much evidence suggests the hormonal environment of the womb has an effect - so a child can be born gay, without it being hereditary.

19. Hereditary = inherited. How about a choice for "innate" or something?
This choice implies that it is a trait passed down genetically. Could it not occur naturally otherwise?

Is it not how a person behaves rather than what a person is?
