7. Second that.
You won't regret it. I'd stay far, far away from any brand-spanking-new Microsoft products (and I'm a PC user, not a Mac user).

13. What happens when the battery becomes unrechargeable?
Or does it use common batteries? That "can never replace batteries" shit is THE reason why I'll never buy an iPod.

15. You have to send it to Apple to have the battery replaced.

21. My 2GB iPod nano is about 13 months old, and I've not had to replace the battery,
but here's the info. Looks like apple just replaces the whole shebang for $65.95.

2. Check out the Sansa e250r

I got one and I am very happy with it.

It's 2 gig about the size of a nano only thicker, does Rhapsody and PlaysForSure, pictures and video (although you have to use their software to transfer pics and vids), FM radio, has a MicroSD expansion slot so you add another couple of gigs to it, and the battery can be changed by the user when needed.

You can pick one up for around 119 dollars.

Just make sure you get the Rhapsody version, not the plain e250.

The other thing is there isn't much in the box except the software, a cable, and a felt case, but there are accessories.

12. got my daughter one for christmas - excellent item
music, pictures, and video, no problems with any of them so far. and an fm radio, with the ability to record it. you can also record your voice or whatever (she uses it to record messages to herself). all for $108 on amazon. we splurged and spend $12 on a colored plastic cover and belt hook.

6. I knew some of theiir older models supported it...
But when the H10 series didn't I kinda gave up on them, haha. If I own something on CD, it's on my hard drive in OGG.

14. If it's size you're looking for - go with a Sony
They have some great 1GB & 2GB products that are small but very functional. Plus with Sony's ATRAC3 technology, you can compress the song even further to get more songs on the player than most normal MP3 players of the same size
