I may have to give up my guitar hobby-it's getting to be too expensive
Edited on Mon Jan-08-07 08:32 AM by underpants
A week ago today I pulled the guitar my wife gave me for Christmas two years ago out of the closet and started trying to play it. (BTW thanks to all the DU'ers who gave me advice here

The expensive part is that every time I finish playing I have to smash the guitar into bits, you know Townsend style. I want the full experience you know.

The guys at the local guitar shop sure are giving me funny looks everyday when I come in there.

:bounce:  :hi:

1. My thought for the morning
Stop practicing on "I Can See For Miles." I don't care how tempting the one-note solo is for a beginning guitarist.

Buy a capo and do "Blue Red and Grey."

Or do "Athena." You'll feel too wimpy to smash anything.
