DU legal eagles.... how do i find out what the lifespan of a financal judgment in NY state is?

I mean, if there is a judgement against you, how long is it good for? When does it expire? Is in renewable? And...how much time does one have to turn a claim into a judgement? Is there a limit?

1. You can probably look it up. In Florida, it's FS 55.10

speaking to the duration of a judgment lien, especially in regards to the lifespan in regards to real property.

3. In Florida, Florida Statute 55.10 (FS 55.10) speaks to the duration

of a judgment lien. There should be similar language in the NYS Statutes as to how long a judgment stands as well.
