To make a bad morning even worse I just got bitched out by some guy on the phone because we don't have anyone here who speaks Spanish. I work in a small office and half the time there are only 3 of us here, it's also in New England. I could understand maybe if it was in Florida or the Southwest, but for people to get angry that I don't speak spanish, enough to yell at me, is just WRONG. "Why? Why don't you have someone who speaks spanish"

I know I will probably get flamed as a racist or a freeper, but this REALLY topped off my day. I am all for immigration, I love the diversity my area has, but I found this incredibly rude. Usually when immigrants call in they are very nice and we just go slowly and manage to communicate enough to assist them if they do not speak english fluently. This guy was just an asshole.

7. I work in Foxboro

Live in Attleboro, raised in Walpole. I speak to probably 4 or 5 people a day who are not native English speakers, no one has ever asked for a different language except spanish and even then this was the first time someone yelled at me because I didn't speak thier language.

Boston and the surrounding areas are very diverse, hence the impossibility of knowing everyone's individual language. That's why the mans reaction shocked me. Usually we just struggle through the conversations and it all works out okay.
