We just got our first paper shredder.

I got it for my husband for his birthday. We've been sitting, mesmerized, as the machine deposits little tiny strips of paper into the receptacle. We can't wait for the mail tomorrow so we can shred junkmail that's still in the envelope. With any luck, we'll get one of those AOL CD's. We're easily entertained. What kinds of stupid things entertain you?

a paper shredder. Almost anything you get in the mail these days can be used
to steal your identity. Everyone run out and get one right now!

The thrill wears off pretty quicky, about when you empty it for the first time and get 3 brazillion little pieces of paper on the floor.

Damn, I never even thought of that before. I don't have a dog or cat at the moment, but I've been considering getting something more cuddly than my Iguana. I placed my paper shredder in the non-auto-on mode...
