$225 Million bonus for radio? ... I'm Sirius!

After all the noise about some CEO of Home Depot getting a big bonus, now Howard Stern gets a $225 million bonus from Sirius, just for getting some girls to show their boobs on radio.

Not having Sirius (or the other paid system), I don't know how entertaining he is on Sirius. He was ok on regular radio, partly because he said things that were not allowed. No such restrictions on Sirius, so what's the appeal?

Anyone here listen to Howard on Sirius? Do you like it?

1. He's better.

The feel is definitely different on his Sirius show- more fluid. He made a point not to overuse profanity just because he could now. I've had a few "nearly-crashed-the-car-from-laughing" moments over the past year on his show.

oh- and he now has the rights to the master tapes from his K-Rock shows. They have a program called "Master Tape Theater" that plays original broadcasts in their entirety- uncut.

3. The bonus was for increasing the number of Sirius subscribers.

I think before he went there they had about half a million, now they have around 6 or 7 million listeners in the year he's been there.
