2. Yes, because the best way to argue is to shut down and ignore dissent.

6. when I listened to a Yahoo radio station
I had about 200 bands that I told them never to play again. It finally got tiring, because they kept wanting to play new stuff that they could sell me. Even with bands I like they seemed to find songs or albums that I didn't like. I had to give up on it.

7. So you like music by boorish copycat
louts that wish they were the Beatles but aren't?
Don't get me wrong, I like Oasis and everything, but to say they're superior to the Beatles is reaching. Really, really, really reaching.
They're better than Paul McCartney and WIngs, if that makes you feel any better.

19. Why, then, did Zack Starkey join Oasis?
He could have joined his father's "all-Starr" band, but went where the talent is.

WESTLIFE BEAT THE BEATLES & OUTSELL OASIS
The Famous Five out do The Fab Four

In a week where record companies gear up for the Christmas shopping rush a host of eagerly awaited new albums debuted at the top of the UK charts. The fight for top billing was supposed to be between the British/Irish super-groups; U2 with their 'U218 Singles', Oasis with 'Stop the Clocks' and the bookies' favourites, The Beatles with 'The Love Album' but another Irish band, Westlife has stolen the show.

The band from Sligo beat Mancunians Oasis into second place with The Beatles only managing a top three finish. Fellow Irishmen, U2, grab fourth place displacing last week's number one album, 'Twenty Five' from George Michael, which slips to five.

18. That is for one week.
Fads come and go, but real established musicians stay for a long time. Look at how Oasis is still together, and the Beatles have broken up.
