I was just in Tower Records yesterday and I saw something horrific!

I had no idea that Talking Presidents.com sold their dolls in stores, but here, staring at me, was living proof. Ann Coulter, George H. W. Bush, Donald Rumsfeld, Dennis Miller, and George W. Bush, not to mention Bill Clinton, which could make this company look unbiased except for the fact that he had his "I did not have sex with that woman." catch phrases. Ann disturbed me most, and just out of curiosity I thought it would be funny to hear her talk. So, in searching for her "try me" button, I realized it was located on her lower abdomen, right where her belly button would be. Not going there. So, I didn't hear her talk, which is actually a good thing. All I know now is I'm not going in that store again until they get rid of those things.

Especially the Ann Coulter one. I got this impression reading the box at a comic book store up the street from me. Maybe I'm wrong, but from the copy it doesn't look like they're marketed quite the same way as they are on say, NewsMax.com.

and they sold out quickly - I asked her if the right-wing infiltrated their corporate offices, because I met the owner of Tower years ago and he's a very cool old guy.

Still I'm disappointed that Tower decided to participate in supporting the company that makes these dolls.

And that's why I shop at the independently owned and best record store in Denver - Twist and Shout.
