...of that thing. I even saved a copy. Like any great work of art, I can't put my finger on exactly why I find it so amusing. But amusing, and highly amusing, I find it. It is both ultra-absurdist and ultra-realist, as a work of art.

38. The one that gets me, usually...
I can't recall the episodes name, but it was a Three Stooges short...where they are carpenters, trying to fix up a room...and Curly is trying to nail up a 2x4, but the nails he is using, are backwards, meaning the head portion is against the board, while the pointy end is facing him...and he is looking at it, all confused...and Moe comes up behind him and slaps him upside his head and says...

"Don't be such an idiot, those are right handed nails, you moran"...I about fell out of my chair laughing, when he said that.

so I don't know how many of you will watch or understand it.

"Hurz" by Hape Kerkeling. He is pretending to be a Russian musician and that "Hurz" is his new classical composition. The audience takes him very serious and discusses the piece with him till in the end he makes clear it was a joke.
It is hilarious. At least for me

54. Incredibly good indeed!
:D

I wish the DVD sets were uncut... they chopped out all the music parodies, commercial break songs, et al, and still found time to charge more for the season sets. (though season 1 appears to be wholly complete)

And the "Men on ___" skits were sublime. Nobody was given a free pass in that show. But they did it with such wit and it's the wit that makes it passable (and funny as hell, IMHO).

50. Dueling Brandos.
Can't find this on YouTube or Google, but it's from the first season or so of SNL. Host Peter Boyle and John Belushi, duded up like The Wild One, trade random Brando movie quotes while "Dueling Banjos" plays. The pace accelerates with the music, and finishes with both men shouting, "Stellaaaaaa!"

It's surreal, and delightful.
