I unfortunately allowed peer pressure to dictate what kind of wedding I had. I can't stand event planning so the idea of eloping in Vegas by some cheesy guy in an Elvis suit really appealed to me. But no. Family, friends and fiance all craved the big party so I gave it to them.

At the end of the day though, it's the marriage not the ceremony that matters so please don't get too caught up in the planning. This advice sounds obvious right now BUT beware that bridal magazines have a secret evil power of making some people temporarily insane. I still blame the magazines for my white dress and stupid center pieces. ;)

It may seem like peaches & cream to the average male horndog, but I know it's not.

Male fantasies aside, you guys have a dynamic that is at least one and a third times more precarious and demanding than a one-and-one arrangement is, genders notwithstanding.
